In February 2026, Meta signed a multi-year agreement with AMD to purchase up to 6 gigawatts of AMD artificial intelligence chips, including MI540 series GPUs and the latest generation of CPUs, and received warrants. Meanwhile, Meta has also partnered with Nvidia to deploy millions of GPUs in its AI infrastructure, including the Blackwell and next-generation Rubin architectures, as well as Grace and Vera CPUs.
