Based on the most recent survey conducted by TrendForce, the utilization of AI has expanded beyond Large Language Model (LLM) training to encompass inference processes. This shift has led Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) to redirect their emphasis in data center construction, moving away from solely AI-centric servers towards a more balanced approach that includes general-purpose servers. As a result, there has been a notable transformation in memory procurement strategies, characterized by a marked uptick in orders. This, in turn, has propelled a substantial increase in the contract prices of Conventional DRAM. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the DRAM industry's revenue soared to US$53.58 billion, marking a quarter-on-quarter surge of 29.4%.
