As per an announcement made on February 25, SK Hynix is set to invest a staggering 21.6 trillion Korean won (roughly equivalent to US$15 billion) in the construction of new facilities for its inaugural factory within the Yongin semiconductor industrial hub. Additionally, the company plans to establish five clean rooms for the project's second through sixth phases. This substantial investment will unfold over a period extending from March 2026 to December 2030.
