Industry insiders report that Samsung Electronics has successfully achieved an 80% production yield for 1c DRAM during high-temperature conditions (thermal testing), marking the current highest level in the industry. Previously, in the fourth quarter of 2025, the yield hovered around 60% to 70%. However, there has been a notable improvement, and it is anticipated to reach 90% by around May. Furthermore, Samsung's production yield for HBM4, which is built upon 1c DRAM technology, has also witnessed an increase, nearing 60%. This is a significant rise compared to the approximately 50% yield recorded in the fourth quarter of the previous year.
