On February 17 (local time), Meta and NVIDIA announced a long-term partnership encompassing on-premises, cloud, and AI infrastructure. Meta will build hyperscale data centers to support its AI infrastructure roadmap. This collaboration will enable the large-scale deployment of millions of Blackwell and Rubin GPUs, as well as NVIDIA's Grace CPUs. This marks the first large-scale independent deployment of NVIDIA's Grace CPUs, signifying NVIDIA's formal entry into the CPU market and challenging AMD and Intel's dominance in the server CPU sector. The Grace CPU utilizes LPDDR5X low-power DRAM, expanding DRAM applications in the server domain, which will benefit major manufacturers Samsung and SK Hynix. Meta also plans to introduce Vera series processors by 2027, further strengthening its layout for energy-efficient AI computing power.
