Recently, the United States revised the Section 1260H Entity List, resulting in the removal of 12 Chinese enterprises, notably Yangtze Memory Technologies (YMTC) and ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT), from the roster of Chinese military-industrial complex entities. This decision effectively opens the door for the integration of Chinese-manufactured DRAM memory and NAND flash memory into consumer products. Prior to this, these two firms encountered market limitations owing to their presence on the list. At present, amid a worldwide scarcity of memory chips, the growth strategies of Chinese companies could potentially mitigate this issue. Nonetheless, they continue to grapple with other U.S. export control constraints.
