Recently, the patent dispute involving Ronbay Technology's Korean subsidiary, Zest, and LG Chem has captured the market's attention. On February 4, Ronbay Technology clarified that the related legal proceedings are still underway, with the Seoul Central District Court yet to issue a verdict. Meanwhile, Zest's comprehensive business operations continue uninterrupted. Earlier, on January 16, 2026, LG Chem had filed a motion for a preliminary injunction with the court, alleging patent infringement and seeking to stop the production and distribution of the products in question. However, Ronbay Technology refuted these claims, stating that the application not only fails to meet the criteria for granting an injunction but also does not represent an indirect attempt to sway public opinion as a means of pressure.
