In recent years, China's domestic chip manufacturer Loongson has continuously promoted the commercialization of its self-developed instruction set architecture, LoongArch. Designed since 2020, this architecture represents a crucial step for China to reduce external dependencies in the processor domain. Recently, the well-known technology website Phoronix conducted a comprehensive test on Loongson's latest 3B6000 processor. This processor features a 12-core design, supports SMT2 (Simultaneous Multi-Threading) technology, and offers a processing capability of 24 threads. In terms of memory, it is equipped with a DDR4 controller that supports a maximum speed of 3200MT/s and features ECC error correction functionality.
