On January 30, according to sources familiar with the matter, China has approved leading AI startup DeepSeek to purchase NVIDIA H200 chips under additional regulatory conditions, with specific terms still under negotiation. Previously, the U.S. government had approved the export of H200 chips to China but imposed conditions such as quantity limits and third-party testing. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that the relevant export licenses are still in the final review stage.
