On January 29, 2026, Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA, made his way to Taiwan Province, China, via a private jet, following the conclusion of his mainland visit. As soon as he stepped off the plane, he handed out Yakult drinks and sandwiches to the waiting media representatives, instantly setting a casual and friendly tone.
Earlier in his trip, Huang had traveled to Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen to participate in the annual meetings of NVIDIA's branch offices in those cities. During his visit, he disclosed that there was a robust demand for NVIDIA's upcoming next-generation product, Rubin. Additionally, he voiced his hope that the U.S. authorities would grant permission for the sale of H200 chips to the Chinese market.
