Recently, during institutional research, BOE disclosed that its 8.6th-generation AMOLED production line achieved a significant milestone by being successfully lit up five months ahead of the originally planned schedule on December 30, 2024. This accomplishment represents a pivotal breakthrough for the company in the realm of medium-sized OLED technology, encompassing the entire process from research and development, process debugging, to mass production preparation. The production line is projected to enter mass production in the latter half of 2026. Once operational, it will be well-positioned to more effectively cater to the high-end product requirements of IT customers, thereby bolstering the company's overall competitiveness within the display industry.
