Shunsuke Nakato, General Manager of Kioxia’s Memory Business Division, has announced that the company’s entire NAND flash memory production capacity for 2026 has already been fully booked. He also mentioned that it is anticipated that supply will continue to fall short of demand at least through 2027. Rather than opting for a highest-bidder approach, Kioxia adheres to a strategy of formulating annual supply plans and allocating its resources to long-term partners. Presently, there is a shortage of both enterprise-grade and consumer-grade SSDs in the market.
