On January 14, 2026, the Amsterdam Enterprise Court in the Netherlands convened a hearing centered around the contentious battle for control of Nexperia. The warring factions were the interim European management team of Nexperia and its sole shareholder, Wingtech Technology. The roots of this conflict trace back to the period between late September and early October 2025. During this time, the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy issued a ministerial decree that temporarily halted Nexperia's regular business operations. As a result, the Enterprise Court stepped in, suspending the role of Zhang Xuezheng and curtailing Wingtech Technology's control privileges. While the Dutch government agency has since rescinded the ministerial decree, the Enterprise Court's decision still stands, plunging the company's control situation into a deadlock. At the hearing, Wingtech Technology vehemently denied accusations like 'asset stripping' and pushed for the reinstatement of its lawful shareholder rights and the restoration of Zhang Xuezheng's position.
