On January 15, TSMC convened its financial conference for the fourth quarter. During the meeting, Chairman C.C. Wei announced that the company's inaugural wafer fabrication plant in the United States had officially entered the phase of high-volume production in the fourth quarter of 2024. Meanwhile, the construction of the second wafer fab has been finalized. Equipment relocation and installation are slated for 2026, with mass production anticipated to kick off in the latter half of 2027.
