Samsung's foundry business unit is currently in the midst of collaborative talks with AMD concerning the 2nm manufacturing process. They are assessing the feasibility of adopting this advanced process for AMD's upcoming generation of CPUs. Both companies intend to leverage MPW (Multi-Project Wafer) technology for chip prototyping purposes. It is anticipated that the contract will be officially concluded as early as January of the coming year, and there is a substantial probability that large-scale production will ensue.
