On December 9, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakung hosted a regular press conference. During the conference, a reporter from Bloomberg asked whether U.S. President Trump had stated that he would approve the sale of NVIDIA H200 artificial intelligence chips to China, inquiring whether China would allow the purchase, when Trump would inform China of his decision, and whether the leaders of China and the United States had communicated by phone. In response, Guo Jiakung said that China had taken note of the relevant reports and has consistently advocated for mutual benefit and win-win results through cooperation between China and the United States.
