Based on reports from media outlets like Reuters and Bloomberg, on the 8th (local time), U.S. President Trump took to social media to declare that the U.S. government would grant NVIDIA the green light to sell its H200 artificial intelligence chips to China. However, there's a catch—a certain fee will be levied for each chip sold. The New York Times pointed out that the H200 chip ranks as NVIDIA's "second - most powerful" offering in this category.

Trump revealed that the U.S. would claim a 25% share from the export of these chips. He further noted that the U.S. Department of Commerce is currently ironing out the finer details of this arrangement. Moreover, this same set of terms will be extended to other artificial intelligence chip - making companies, including Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Intel.
