The Samsung Exynos 2600 chip has yet to reach the stage of full - fledged mass production. As the inaugural mobile phone chip in the world to adopt the 2nm Gate - All - Around (GAA) process, its mass production timeline has hit a snag due to yield - related problems.

Initially, Samsung manufactured around 15,000 wafers. However, the yield rate stood at a mere 50% or so, well below the 70% benchmark necessary for commercialization. In the face of this situation, Samsung is currently channeling its efforts into testing production solutions that promise higher yield rates. This move is aimed at minimizing waste and keeping costs in check, especially considering the escalating prices of DRAM and NAND flash memory.

The Exynos 2600 boasts a 10 - core CPU architecture. It also integrates a GPU that draws on the AMD RDNA4 architecture. Moreover, it incorporates High - Performance Bandwidth (HPB) thermal dissipation technology, which enables a 30% improvement in thermal efficiency compared to its predecessor.

Originally, this chip was slated to make its debut alongside the Galaxy S26 series. The corresponding terminals were expected to hit the market in February 2026.
