As the helm of the world's most valuable company, Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, boasts a fortune of close to $160 billion, placing him eighth on the global rich list. Despite his extraordinary accomplishments, he has never indulged in a relaxing getaway, instead, always immersing himself wholeheartedly in the company's matters.

In a recent podcast, Huang openly admitted that fear, anxiety, and worries about the company's potential bankruptcy have been his constant companions, acting as a powerful impetus for his continuous advancement. He works seven days a week, even on holidays, and starts dealing with emails as early as 4 a.m.

Huang reminisced about the mid-1990s when Nvidia was on the brink of bankruptcy due to technical glitches. Back then, the company was facing a severe shortage of funds. He flew to Japan and candidly informed the CEO of Sega about the product's problems. He proposed canceling the deal and, at the same time, pleaded for the conversion of the final $5 million payment into an investment. This move ultimately saved the company from going under.

This experience solidified his belief that adversity is the cornerstone for cultivating resilience and attaining success. Even to this day, the fear of failure remains Huang's most potent motivator. He stated that the dread of failure propels him forward far more than the longing for success.
