On the evening of November 28, SMIC announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, SMIC Holdings, and Hunan Goke Microelectronics Co., Ltd. had previously signed an agreement for Goke Microelectronics to purchase a 94.366% stake in SMIC Ningbo, which included the 14.832% stake in SMIC Ningbo held by SMIC Holdings. However, as the parties involved in the transaction were unable to reach an agreement within the expected timeframe, they decided to terminate the transaction. After termination, SMIC Holdings will still retain a 14.832% stake in SMIC Ningbo, and the termination of this transaction will not have a significant impact on the company's financial condition.
