Video memory, fundamentally a variant of DRAM (Dynamic Random-Access Memory), has witnessed a dramatic price escalation, consequently driving up the prices of graphics cards. Over the past two and a half months, memory manufacturers have implemented substantial price hikes, with some increases reaching two to threefold, underscoring the gravity of the situation. Although the price surge in video memory has been somewhat more gradual, it is inevitable in terms of both timing and scale. Presently, video memory prices have at least doubled from their levels at the end of September.
