On November 1, the official website of the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) posted an update. In it, a spokesperson addressed a reporter's query about the Nexperia semiconductor matter, delivering another statement on the topic. The spokesperson highlighted that China had already addressed similar concerns before and underscored how the Dutch government's unwarranted meddling in corporate affairs had thrown a wrench into the smooth operation of global industrial and supply chains. As a major and responsible nation, China places great importance on the security and stability of both domestic and international industrial and supply chains. It extends a warm invitation to firms encountering challenges to reach out to MOFCOM or their local commerce authorities. Depending on the specific circumstances of each enterprise, we will consider granting exemptions for qualifying exports.
