Recently, AMD rolled out the Adrenalin Edition 25.10.2 driver. This new driver brings optimized support for a variety of games, such as Battlefield 6, and also adds compatibility for the Ryzen AI 5 330 processor. Nevertheless, some users observed a notable omission in the driver's official documentation. Under the "Compatible Operating Systems" section, only Windows 11 21H2 and later versions were listed, with no mention of Windows 10. This led to a flurry of speculation among users, with many wondering if AMD had ceased its support for Windows 10.

In reaction to these concerns, AMD promptly issued an official statement. The company made it clear that it has not terminated support for Windows 10. On the contrary, AMD will persist in providing driver updates for Windows 10 in the upcoming months. AMD explained that the exclusion of Windows 10 from the new driver documentation was in line with Microsoft's policy of phasing out mainstream support for Windows 10. It emphasized that this was merely an adjustment in the wording of the documentation, rather than a shift in the actual support strategy.

AMD further elaborated that although the software package does not explicitly state its support for Windows 10, it does, in fact, fully support the system. Moreover, AMD assured users that future support for Windows 10 would continue to be available through the Windows 11 driver installer. Media tests have also verified that Windows 10 devices can smoothly install the latest driver, and all the new features operate as intended.
