The visit of Nvidia's CEO, Jensen Huang, to South Korea has sparked widespread interest. On the evening of October 30, Huang shared a meal with Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Hyundai Motor Chairman Chung Eui-sun at a Seoul-based fried chicken eatery called 'Kkanbu Chicken.' The trio indulged in fried chicken, cheese sticks, and beer. Huang deliberately selected this venue to immerse himself in South Korea's iconic fried chicken and beer culture.

During the dinner, Huang gifted the two chairmen with signed whiskey bottles and a miniature AI supercomputer, the 'DGX Spark.' With a touch of humor, he proclaimed, "This dinner is my treat!" Nevertheless, Lee Jae-yong and Chung Eui-sun ended up footing the bill, which came to around 2.5 million won (approximately RMB 12,450).

In an interview prior to entering the restaurant, Huang conveyed his eagerness to meet South Korean President Lee Jae-myung at the APEC summit the next day and alluded to the impending release of major news concerning ongoing projects. Additionally, he brought up his discussions with Samsung regarding high-bandwidth memory (HBM) and indicated that numerous topics would merit further exploration down the line.
