On October 29, news emerged that SK Hynix recorded sales amounting to KRW 24.45 trillion in the third quarter. This figure fell just short of the market's anticipated KRW 24.51 trillion. However, the company's operating profit soared to KRW 11.38 trillion, outstripping the market's forecast of KRW 11.23 trillion and marking a historic high for quarterly profits. This remarkable achievement was largely attributed to robust sales of its HBM3E and DDR5 products.

Looking ahead, SK Hynix anticipates that the sequential quarterly growth rates for DRAM B/G (Bandwidth/Generation) and NAND B/G in the fourth quarter will hover around the lower end of the 0% to 10% spectrum.

In a significant development, SK Hynix has successfully concluded negotiations with a major customer and is now gearing up to commence the supply of HBM4. Shipments are slated to kick off in the fourth quarter. Furthermore, the company has engaged in fruitful discussions with several key clients concerning the provision of HBM4 in 2026, and has secured confirmed demand from all its DRAM and NAND customers for that year.

On the investment front, SK Hynix announced that its capital expenditures in 2026 are set to rise compared to 2025. The company plans to bolster its production capacity through the expansion of its M15X facility.
