On October 28, during the GTC conference, NVIDIA made a groundbreaking announcement regarding the launch of its NVQLink high-speed interconnect technology. Serving as an open system architecture, this innovative technology is specifically engineered to bridge the gap between quantum processors and GPU supercomputers. By doing so, it achieves a tight integration of the immense computational power of GPUs with the unique capabilities of quantum processors, thereby facilitating the construction of accelerated quantum supercomputers. To date, NVQLink has garnered substantial support and active collaboration from a diverse range of stakeholders, including 17 leading quantum computing companies, 5 prominent controller manufacturers, and 9 prestigious U.S. national laboratories.
