At a recent event organized by U.S.-headquartered Castle Securities, Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, disclosed that owing to the U.S. export control regulations, Nvidia's market share in China has taken a nosedive, dropping from a dominant 95% to a staggering 0%. He further mentioned that the company has now entirely withdrawn from the Chinese market. Huang emphasized that for the U.S. to lose access to China, the world's second-largest computing market, represents a strategic blunder. He also pointed out that measures taken to the detriment of China frequently end up causing harm to the U.S. as well, and in some cases, the damage to the U.S. could be even more severe.
