The China Communications Standards Association (CCSA), in concert with the Telecommunication Terminal Industry Association (TAF), has recently made public the official launch of the group standard T/CCSA 708 - 2025 (T/TAF 313—2025). In English, it can be named as "Integrated Fast-Charging and Wireless Charging Standard for Mobile Terminals". This groundbreaking standard, which was co-drafted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) in tandem with prominent domestic terminal and chip manufacturers, represents China's inaugural wireless fast-charging standard that endorses high-power integrated charging technology. It meticulously outlines the technical specifications for electromagnetic induction-based integrated wireless fast charging in mobile terminals. The coverage of this standard is comprehensive, encompassing general requirements, physical layer specifications, protocol layer details, application layer functionalities, and foreign object detection mechanisms. It is applicable to the design and utilization of transmitter and receiver devices, as well as the research, development, manufacturing, and implementation of associated chips. The introduction of this novel standard effectively bridges a gap in China's technical standards within this domain, furnishing a unified framework for the industry. Moreover, it acts as a catalyst for the high-quality and sustainable development of the integrated fast-charging sector.
