Stocks related to memory chips, commercial aerospace concepts, printed circuit boards (PCBs), co-packaged optics (CPO), and other computing hardware sectors demonstrated exceptional performance, with numerous stocks reaching their daily upward price limits. Conversely, the energy sector, encompassing coal and gas, witnessed a downturn. Baichuan Energy's stock plummeted to its daily downward price limit, while Yunmei Energy's stock approached the same threshold.
Analyzing individual stock performance, the number of advancing stocks outstripped that of declining ones. Across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock exchanges, nearly 2,900 stocks registered gains. Morning trading volume surged to RMB 1.24 trillion. By the midday break, the Shanghai Composite Index had ascended by 0.42%, the Shenzhen Component Index had advanced by 1.3%, and the ChiNext Index had jumped by 2.09%.
