On October 15, 2025, the 3kW@4.5K helium refrigerator developed and manufactured by Henan Zhongke Qingneng Technology Co., Ltd. was successfully started up for the first time in Hefei. As of the 20th, it had operated safely and stably for over 120 hours, with an actual refrigeration capacity of 3kW, meeting the design specifications. This equipment is the largest refrigeration power helium refrigerator that has been put into operation in China's nuclear fusion field, and will provide support for the stable operation of the CRAFT project.
