On October 21, 2025, Microsoft released the latest update KB5066835 for the Windows 11 24H2/25H2 versions, officially enabling the upgraded Prism emulation function for Arm-based PCs, which supports emulation of the AVX/AVX2 instruction sets. Previously available only for x86 processors, this function now allows Arm users to enjoy compatibility support for mainstream applications and games.
