On September 23, as the U.S. stock market drew to a close, all three major indices experienced a downward trend. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 0.19%, the Nasdaq Composite Index saw a 0.95% decline, and the S&P 500 Index dropped by 0.55%. This downturn was largely attributed to a widespread decline in large-cap technology stocks. Oracle's shares plummeted more than 4%, Amazon's stock fell over 3%, Nvidia's shares declined more than 2%, while Tesla, Meta (formerly Facebook), and Microsoft each witnessed a drop exceeding 1%.

Furthermore, popular Chinese concept stocks also experienced a collective weakening. Baidu's shares tumbled more than 8%, Bilibili and Tencent Music saw declines exceeding 4%, JD.com's stock dropped nearly 3%, and both Li Auto and iQiyi experienced losses of more than 1%.
