Recently, Shenzhen Icecore Microelectronics Co., Ltd. has proudly declared the successful closure of its Series A funding round, raising an impressive sum exceeding 100 million yuan. This significant financial boost was spearheaded by CMB International, with valuable contributions also coming from United Optoelectronics, Star Semiconductor Technology, Optics Valley Talent Fund, and the continued support of existing shareholder Guohua Investment.

Established in 2021, Icecore Micro has carved out a unique niche for itself as the inaugural Chinese enterprise equipped with the expertise to design SPAD (Single Photon Avalanche Diode) low-light imaging chips. The company has honed its focus on the specialized domains of depth sensing and low-light imaging chip design, successfully launching two flagship product lines: dToF (Direct Time-of-Flight) depth sensing and PCI (Photon Counting Imaging) low-light imaging.
