On Thursday (local time), NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, shared that the company's substantial $5 billion investment in Intel, along with their technological collaboration, was the culmination of nearly a year of ongoing dialogue between the two tech giants. He disclosed that he had personally engaged in discussions about the partnership with Intel's CEO, Lip-Bu Tan, whom he affectionately called a "long-standing friend." Following the announcement of their investment pact aimed at co-developing data center and PC chips, Lip-Bu Tan also remarked on their 30-year-long acquaintance with Jensen Huang.
