According to a report from the Financial Times, Chinese regulatory authorities have imposed a ban on domestic tech companies from purchasing Nvidia's newest AI chip, the RTX Pro 6000D. This chip has been specially tailored for the Chinese market and has not yet undergone an official launch. Since Nvidia's CEO, Jensen Huang, made the announcement about the release of this chip back in July, several Chinese companies had already placed orders for thousands of units. However, China's National Internet Information Office has now stepped in, instructing companies such as Alibaba and ByteDance to halt both the purchase and testing of this product.
