On September 17, during the Global AI Chip Summit (GACS2025) held on the same day, Chen Ning, the Chairman of Yuntian Alifei, highlighted that in the coming 5 to 10 years, AI is poised to revolutionize all electronic products, with inference computing power networks becoming increasingly ubiquitous. These two prevailing demand trends are anticipated to drive the AI inference chip market into a phase of explosive growth.
Chen Ning elaborated that, on one front, personal devices such as smartphones, tablets, earphones, and smart glasses, along with intelligent terminals like home appliances, autonomous vehicles, and humanoid robots, will all acquire language interaction capabilities in the future. This transformation will enable them to function as super personal assistants across a multitude of scenarios.
On the other hand, he emphasized that inference computing power networks, built upon AI inference chips, will emerge as a pivotal infrastructure for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. These networks will parallel the significance of power grids and wireless communication networks. The computing power network will encompass a broad spectrum, from national-level large-scale computing centers and city-level ultra-low-latency computing centers to edge AI computing centers located in large industrial parks. Furthermore, it is envisioned that every household will be equipped with a home computing host, facilitating the deployment of privatized large models to safeguard personal data and privacy security.
