On September 16, Tianqi Lithium disclosed on its investor interaction platform that, regarding the research of key materials for next-generation high-performance lithium batteries, a groundbreaking electrolytic preparation technology has successfully passed experimental verification. The company is now aggressively moving forward with the construction of a pilot-scale production line for this technology.

In parallel, Tianqi Lithium has enhanced its experimental platform dedicated to the development of steady-state alloy anodes. This upgrade has empowered the company with systematic development capabilities in this area. Among the five types of binary lithium alloy anode materials under research, some have already entered the verification phase with battery cell customers, marking a significant step towards commercialization.

Moreover, Tianqi Lithium has achieved a stable production capacity for 300mm-wide ultra-wide lithium strips, a feat that underscores its technological prowess. Additionally, the company has successfully developed ultra-thin composite strips, further expanding its product portfolio and solidifying its position in the lithium battery industry.
