On September 17th, two insiders revealed that NVIDIA's newly rolled-out AI chip, the RTX6000D—tailored specifically for the Chinese market—has been met with a lackluster demand. Several major tech firms have decided against placing orders for this product. The RTX6000D is primarily designed for AI inference tasks; however, within the industry, it is widely considered to offer poor value for money. Tests have shown that its performance falls short when compared to that of the RTX5090. Notably, the RTX5090 can be procured through the gray market at a price that is less than half of the RTX6000D's, which hovers around 50,000 yuan.
