On the morning of September 17, concept stocks related to lithography machines exhibited robust performance, continuing their upward trajectory after opening at high levels. Among individual stocks, Yongxin Optics and Wavelength Opto-Electronic both surged to their daily price limits. Meanwhile, Guolin Technology, Sudavision, Mole Optics, Kinglai Hygiene Materials, and Bluein Equipment emerged as the leading gainers. According to two industry insiders, SMIC is currently conducting tests on a deep ultraviolet lithography machine manufactured by the Shanghai-based startup Yuliangsheng. This machine incorporates immersion technology, akin to that employed by ASML. Although the preliminary test results from SMIC have been promising, it is still uncertain whether and when this machine will be deployed for large-scale chip production.
