On September 16th, Intel made an announcement stating that Wang Rui, who serves as the Chairman of Intel China, is set to retire this month. Wang Rui holds the distinction of being the first female chairman in the history of Intel China. Her journey with Intel began in 1994. Over the years, she has taken on various important roles within the company. She has served as the General Manager of Intel's Huawei Global Customer Division, where she was responsible for managing the company's business with Huawei on a global scale. Additionally, she held the position of General Manager of the Technical Support Division, overseeing the provision of technical assistance and solutions. Moreover, she was the Vice President of the Platform Engineering Division, playing a key role in the development and engineering of Intel's platforms.

In 2021, Wang Rui was formally appointed as the Chairman of Intel China, a testament to her extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the Chinese market and business environment.
