According to reports, AMD has quietly launched the new A620A chipset, with ASUS and Gigabyte already listing relevant motherboard products on their official websites. As a successor to the A620, the A620A offers a more cost-effective option for entry-level users. This chipset utilizes the same Promontory 19 chip as the B550, with the processor connection speed downgraded to PCIe 3.0 x4. However, it adds an independent SATA interface that does not need to share PCIe lanes, enhancing its expansion capabilities.
