CATL Concludes Eight-Year Overseas Investment, Exiting Finnish Valmet Automotive

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) has successfully sold its 20.6% shareholding in Finnish contract vehicle manufacturer Valmet Automotive to the Finnish government and existing shareholder Pontos. Following the completion of this transaction, the Finnish government, through its national investment institution, will hold a controlling 79% stake in Valmet and infuse an additional 35 million euros into the company. Pontos, on the other hand, will retain the remaining 21% stake. The exact amount of the transaction remains undisclosed.
