In August, the A-share market entered a period of heightened mid-year report disclosures, resulting in a marked surge in research activity by publicly offered funds. According to data from Gongmu PaiPai.com, a total of 163 publicly offered institutions participated in research visits during the month, covering 771 companies across 30 industries. The total number of research visits reached 8,338, representing a substantial increase of 144.73% compared to the previous month.

Among the various sectors, the pharmaceutical and biological sector, along with the electronics sector, garnered the most attention. With a total of 1,373 and 1,312 research visits respectively, they ranked first and second. Additionally, the machinery and equipment, electrical equipment, and computer industries also found themselves among the top five most researched sectors.

On the individual stock level, Tianfu Communication stood out at the top of the list, receiving a total of 87 research visits.
