The Three Gorges Power Station has surpassed a monumental milestone of 1.8 trillion kWh in cumulative power generation. This achievement equates to conserving approximately 540 million tons of standard coal and mitigating 1.48 billion tons of carbon dioxide emissions. Serving as a cornerstone of energy stability, the power station reliably supplies electricity to central and eastern China, Guangdong, and beyond. Boasting a total installed capacity of 22.5 million kW, it stands as a pillar in China's strategic plan for "West-to-East Power Transmission" and "North-South Power Supply." Through advanced dispatching methods and intelligent operation and maintenance practices, the Three Gorges Power Station continuously bolsters its energy supply capabilities. Furthermore, the world's largest clean energy corridor, comprising six power stations including Wudongde, Baihetan, Xiluodu, Xiangjiaba, Three Gorges, and Gezhouba, now boasts a combined installed capacity of 71.695 million kW and an annual average power generation of approximately 300 billion kWh. This formidable network significantly enhances the interconnectivity and energy security of the national power grid.
