Jensen Huang, Chief Executive Officer of Nvidia, disclosed that the company is actively considering introducing its latest Blackwell processors to the Chinese market, while urging the US government to facilitate market access. He anticipates a robust 50% growth in China's AI market within the coming year. Previously, Nvidia had secured an export license for its H20 chips, specifically designed for the Chinese market, albeit with the stipulation of remitting 15% of its sales revenue in China to the US government. Despite the current unavailability of H20 chips in China, Nvidia's revenue surged by 56% year-on-year in the second quarter, amounting to $54 billion. The company projects potential future sales of H20 chips in China to range between $2 billion and $5 billion. Huang underscored that the Chinese market harbors a business potential of approximately $50 billion and is poised to sustain an annual growth rate of 50%. Presently, the US government has yet to elucidate specific regulations regarding the division of chip sales revenue, with geopolitical discussions still ongoing.
