In 2019, Huawei introduced its pioneering server processor, the Kunpeng 920. Built upon the Arm instruction set architecture and leveraging a cutting-edge 7nm process, this processor supports 32 to 64 cores with a peak frequency of 2.6GHz. Additionally, it offers compatibility with 8-channel DDR4 memory, PCIe 4.0, and 100G RoCE networks. Despite the successful launch of the Kunpeng 920, Huawei has notably refrained from unveiling any substantial upgrades in the server processor space until now.
