The School of Cyberspace Security at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications has announced the prestigious addition of IEEE Fellow, wireless communication MIMO expert, and 3GPP standards authority Zhou Yongxing, who has been appointed as a distinguished professor. Zhou Yongxing, previously the (deputy) chief scientist for standards and patents and chief expert in terminal communication standards at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., brings extensive experience in wireless communication technology R&D and standard formulation. His arrival will bolster BUPT's research prowess in frontier areas such as wireless communication security, AI, and integrated aerospace communications, fostering a deeper integration of industry, academia, and research.
