Beijing has unveiled the "Implementation Plan for the Innovative Development of '5G + Industrial Internet' (2025-2027)", which outlines ambitious goals to establish at least 50 private 5G networks within the industrial sector, construct more than 20 5G factories, and nurture over 50 comprehensive or industry-specific 5G application solution providers by 2027. The plan emphasizes the acceleration of industrial 5G network infrastructure, prioritizing the enhancement of 5G networks in key manufacturing hubs. It also calls for the deployment of industrial-grade 5G private networks and 5G-Advanced (5G-A) networks to bolster 5G's support for a wide range of typical industrial applications.
