Apple's AI division has recently witnessed a notable exodus of talent, as at least five engineers specializing in foundational AI models have made the switch to Meta's AI Research Lab within a span of just over a month. In an attempt to address this situation, Apple has offered modest salary hikes to the affected employees; however, these adjustments still fall short of the competitive compensation packages offered by rivals.
