A team led by Professor Li Jie from Xi'an Jiaotong University dedicated 90 days to aiding the Shenzhen Special Development Group in the successful deployment of the "Xiaomeisha Low-Altitude Economic Seaside Smart Surveillance Platform." Leveraging "low-altitude autonomous cruise + multi-spectral polarization imaging" technology, this innovative platform monitors a vast 134-hectare maritime area. Capable of conducting a comprehensive inspection within just 15 minutes, it meticulously detects hazardous situations like drowning, enables second-level early warnings, and facilitates minute-by-minute responses, thereby forging a robust new frontier in life safety measures. As the pioneering seaside low-altitude smart surveillance initiative in China, this project is poised to propel technological advancements in the security management of coastal tourist destinations.
